The girl, who the whole world watched Adele kissing her hand, tells "Dotmsr" the whole story before living this moment, beginning from trying to climb all the hands to reach Adele, to the point which time freezed at, when she recieves a cute kiss from the super star.
"Samira" who failed to buy tickets for Adele's concert before, the destiny led her to this concert where she witnessed one of the most magical moments in her life.
We want to know the story behind Adele kissing your hand and tell us how you felt at that moment?
While Adele was performing at the show and we were in the front row, I broke down in tears as soon as I saw her for the first time singing "Hello" which she began her show with. I couldn't believe she was standing right in front of my eyes, I was in a total shock almost the whole night. Singing along to every song she sang I was in tears each time she'd sing a new song. My fiancé couldn't handle how happy I was and wanted to "make my night" and so he held me up and put me on his right side of his shoulder so I can have a better look at her... at this point I was in more tears. They were tears of happiness and I was even more excited.
All of a sudden Adele saw me crying and she walked up to me and said "awww don't cry my darling" and she held my hand. Because of the love I have for Adele, my reaction was to kiss her hand and tell her how much I love her, So I kissed her hand and she said "awww" and in return kissed my hand back, and before she walked away I said "I love you Adele!".
My fiancé then took me down and I needed to take a huge gasp of air. I couldn't believe what just happened and I was crying from happiness. It was the most magical moment of my life.
Was it difficult for you to get the tickets for Adele's concert?
When tickets went on sale for Adele's concert, she only announced she will be doing one show in Sydney which would've been on the 10th of march 2017. My fiancé Adi Kalal and I were discussing purchasing tickets to her show so we could both attend together. I was working as a nurse (night shift) so my mind wasn't all with me I was very caught up with work and family. As soon as I realised the date, I jumped online at work and founf that all her tickets were sold out. I was devastated and so upset.
Feeling very regretful and down I was planning on going to Adelaide or Melbourne in Australia just to attend her concert, until I heard the greatest news that Adele announced another show will be held the very next day on the 11th of March 2017. I was so excited and when her second show of tickets was available for purchase online I made sure I was online almost an hour before they were available so I could be in the queue.
I was so excited and so relieved she announced another show that my fiancé, Adi, promised me he would buy us the VIP GOLDEN CIRCLE STANDING PACKAGE (the closest to Adele) to make sure we have the time of our lives.
After being online waiting for tickets, I was finally in the queue, with my fiancé on the phone waiting patiently with me, we purchased two VIP tickets at $766.00 each.
As the months went by Adele's concert was getting closer and closer and I was even more excited than ever. The day had finally come and my fiancé Adi came to my house early in the morning. we headed off early so we can secure a parking spot and get in line at the gates early.
Some newspapers related between you being a Muslim and Adele putting a kiss on your hand.. Do you think Adele kissed your hand as a sign of rejection to what is said about Islam and the ones who call it a "racist" religion?
I think Adele just kissed my hand as a sign of respect for her fans and I don't believe me wearing a hijab or not would've made any difference to be honest. I believe she's just a genuine loving human.
Tell us about yoursel and your family?
I'm 26 year old female from Sydney Australia. I am of Islamic faith. I have a Lebanese background but I was born and raised in Sydney.
Has the Hijab/Veil caused you any troubles?
No it has not caused me any annoyances or harm.
What is your job?
I am a registered nurse, So I have just completed my bachelor of nursing degree.
when did you start listening to Adele's songs?
I started listening to Adele as soon as her number one song "someone like you" hit the charts . Since then, I've fallen in love with her music and most of her music relates to me and takes me to a different world. I love her beauty, to me she's a queen. She's loving, kind and has a beautiful family. For other musicians, it's all about selling more albums and making a lot of money, which includes drugs, sex, nudity etc.
Did you attend any concert to Adele before the last one?
I have never attended any of her concerts before, as this is the first time she is on tour in Australia.
why do you love Adele?
I've bought all her albums and I'll forever be an Adele fan as Adele has marked history as one of the greatest singers that has ever existed on this planet.
With Adele, it's all about her voice. She's stunning and she has the most amazing voice I've ever heard.
If you can write a message to Adele, what would you say in it?
My only dream and wish is to meet her, Even if it lasted only 5 minutes. Chatting with her for a few minutes would be like a dream come true.
"Adele I love you, I am your biggest fan and I only wish you have the best life can offer. May God bless you and your family with health, love, joy and happiness until the end of time. Keep inspiring us all with your amazing music and you are absolutely stunning in every way.
Thank you for returning the the gesture when I kissed your hand, you blew my mind away and made me realise how you're so accepting to all races and religions. I really hope this does show the world that Muslims are just like everybody else, we work, we're mothers, we have families and celebrate, we are all one and I hope that our photos can show the whole world that we are able to have heaven on earth as we're all from one big family, thank you so much."
